Grief is the brain’s natural way of allowing us to adjust to someone who was important to us no longer being around.

It can be a hard time adjusting to someone no longer being in your life. You may find yourself noticing that people you see in the street look like the person you have lost and that you see their face everywhere. Little things might painfully remind you that they are no longer around.

Grief is a natural process that we all experience at some time and is the brain’s way of helping us get over the loss of someone close to us. If the grieving process is going on for too long (months) without any ease of intensity then it may be time to consider getting some help.
