About me

Hypnotherapist and solution-focused psychotherapist

Mark Pegler,
DHypPsych(UK), GQHP, NRH, LL.B(Hons), PgDip

I am very passionate about my work to provide effective therapy and support to those who are looking to support themselves.

I am a professional, qualified hypnotherapist and brief solution-focused psychotherapist having worked as such for 14 years. I hold a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy from one of the UK’s top hypnotherapy training providers, Uncommon Knowledge, their course having been run at the University of Brighton.

I have also worked as a supervisor on the diploma in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy course, assisting in the training of new therapists.

My work is from a human givens perspective and this combines the best approaches including some elements from the fields of cognitive, behavioural and interpersonal therapy and NLP. Research-based approaches are used to ensure the delivery of effective therapy.

I am a full member of the General Hypnotherapy Register and adhere to their code of ethics. I am accredited by the Hypnotherapy Standards Council and also the National Regulatory Register for Hypnotherapy.

I work online via Zoom which is just as effective as in person. Limited face to face appointments may be available in either Sutton Coldfield and Erdington in Birmingham, UK or Faringdon, Oxfordshire, UK.

Before becoming a therapist, I obtained an honours law degree from the University of Essex and went on to qualify as a solicitor.
